The server is down for about 14 hours 2 days ago due to some hardware problem i believe. But my hosting company manage to bring it up. This is to inform that if anyone has found their links or articles are missing, do let me know.

The server migration has finished, but i discover that the migration has migrate the old archive files. Initially, i only discover that the user interface is not up to date, but today, one author inform me that his articles as well as his profile has gone missing.

I would like to apologize  to all authors who has been affected by issue. The migration actually done by my server hosting, but unfortunately they have restored and migrate old backup files. I will investigate which data is lost, and will try to bring it back ASAP.

I haven’t finish updating my database since the server is perform quite slow recently as well as I’m busy with my daily works. At one point i feel frustrated with my hosting performance.  But i do understand since my database has reach more than 200 mb in size, and this would probably cause time-out happen intermittently when the page is loading especially during US days.

My hosting company has bought new server (dual core, but not sure what core) and offer everyone to move there free of charge. But all migration process must be done by the  subscriber, which is quite troublesome for person especially to me who has less knowledge in networking related things.

I’ll try to get this done during weekend(hopefully i’m free this weekend) to avoid this issue from happen continuously. Ohh, i almost forget that, there will be PC fair coming over this weekend at PISA, maybe I’ll try to get there to survey new stuff and technology  and maybe grab something from there

It’s almost quarter end again for my company (where i’m working).. there is a lot of works and documentation must be done… sigh… don’t know when i can have opportunity to work independently..  Maybe next 5 years when my online income exceeding my salary..

There are many mays to maximize article directory usage. It is very easy and even my self use it to monitor my directory. I will noticed if there are new articles coming in and read their content in 1 page. Talking about it, you’ll need a RSS Reader but i will suggest Google Reader or Bloglines because of their simplicity and the features they offered

a)Using RSS

1. Navigate to RSS Feed
2. Choose whatever topic that you desired. When you click any topic, the RSS Feed address will appeared on text box above it
3. Copy that address. Open Google Reader or Bloglines and add this new RSS feed address

b) Using Ezine Notification

1. Navigate to Ezine Notification
2. Choose any topic that you desired.
3. Choose if you want to rezeive the notification weekly or real time
4. And finally add your name ad your email. You will receive email whenever there is new article added weekly or real time.

I’ve been asked by someone if they can use the articles inside their blog or website. The answer is ‘YES’. But please read or TOS first. I knew that some of you may interested in some of the articles inside, i really encourage my reader to maximize the usage of articles, but it must be  within our TOS

I just completed configuring my Web Directory  using script from PHPLD. This idea started when i received few request from the authors on my Article Directory to exchange link, which i put initially here. When the link grows bigger, i felt that this won’t be good to my hard and hard for me to keep track of them as well as my author. From there i decide to have new web directory and after reviewing few script, i’m interested with PHPLD because of it widely used by other directory owner, but more importantly it is free (for version 2.1).
